The EI Games Story
EI Games founders, Kevin and Karl Allen, are partners in business… together an
alchemy of creativity, business savvy and most of all, of empathy and a dedication to
helping people grow.
Each from challenging beginnings and with entirely unique skills and talents, both are
united in an essential drive, borne out of the lessons of their own personal journey… to
give the gift of confidence to people to be the person that they are and to believe they can
reach whatever it is that they seek.
Kevin (The Growth Guy)
Following a noteworthy advertising career leading some of the world’s most recognized
companies and brands, Kevin set out on a new journey to help companies and individuals
grow. His first step was to write what became a Wall Street Journal bestseller, The
Hidden Agenda: A Proven Way to Win Business and Create a Following. In it, he shared
the secrets of what it takes to grow companies and mobilize people to achieve great
things through emotional intelligence.

Speaking engagements and consultation mushroomed onto a Business Transformation
Company re:kap located in New York and London, helping global clients like Burberry,
and Expedia in crystallizing their sense of purpose, delivering plans for growth activity
and aligning, training and mobilizing their people to win what they seek.
Karl (Artist, Designer and Game Visionary)
Karl built a career as a working artist, filmmaker and costume designer. His filmic
abilities and design sensibilities along with his creativity in program design found their
way into the re:kap business with Kevin. Soon after a successful program with Angela
Ahrendts and her team while at Burberry, Karl envisaged a way to answer her challenge
to scale the emotional intelligent content and as Angela summarized it,” to bottle the way
you make people feel.”

E I Games is Born
Karl saw a vision of devising a special form of game-based learning …one part game,
another part simulation and many parts engagement, fun and challenge. Kevin saw the
opportunity to impart the 21 st century’s most vital ability, emotional intelligence practices
at scale and both believed as they do now, that education of any kind has a profound
challenge of how to engage this new generation of learners drawn from an entirely new
cohort of digital-savvy millennials for whom old fashioned means of training and
employee engagement is being seriously questioned.
A robust award-winning game-based learning portfolio and a globally recognized
consultancy in emotional intelligent business practices counting companies like Google,
Cisco and Oracle, and Universities like Arizona State, Harvard and Ashford University as
its worldwide clients.
